Professor Green, Pixie Lott and Roman Kemp were among the celebrities who attended the opening of Chokhi Dhani, a new Indian restaurant in Battersea.
Guests enjoyed champagne and canapes created by brilliant head chef Vishnu Natarajan. Offering a tantalising preview of some of the delights that will grace the restaurant’s menu. Tasters included Achaari Paneer Tikka, Sea Trout Tikka & Roe, Tandoori Orange Duck and Ostrich Puffs.
Attendees were also able to marvel at Chokhi Dhani’s stunning collection of bespoke, handcrafted artworks, including a life-size bronze elephant sculpture that stands proudly at the entrance.
Chokhi Dhani London showcases the same mix of fine food, vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service that entrances all who visit its venues in Rajasthan, but with a contemporary twist.
Vishnu’s menu not only highlights dishes from this ancient princely state, with its widely revered royal cuisine, but also other culinary jewels from across India. On the ground floor diners can enjoy a street food concept, where the chilled mood counterbalances the more formal ambience upstairs.
Chokhi Dhani will open seven days a week from 12pm-11pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-10.30pm on Sunday.
