Sarah is Head of Wealth Planning Advisory UK and specialises in tax planning for UK resident domiciled and resident non-domiciled clients. Before joining UBS in 2010, she worked for 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising entrepreneurs, private companies and families. She holds a number of external tax related positions in addition to her role at UBS. Sarah graduated with a first class honours degree from the University of Oxford and is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser

Lisa Francis

With over 25 years of banking experience, Lisa has a proven track record of growing businesses. She is a successful leader with strong client relationships with UK, European and global corporates. In her previous position she was Head of European Corporate FX Sales Distribution in the Investment Bank, covering Corporate, Private Equity and Fintech clients across Europe and the UK. Prior to joining Barclays in 2012, Lisa spent 12 years at RBS where she was Head of European FX Sales and Global Head of Event-Driven FX business. She started her career at NatWest within the Corporate & Investment Banking division, and has held positions in Sales, Risk and Coverage across the UK and US.

Alison Broadberry
Edwin Coe
Partner, Head of Private Client

Alison is head of the private client team at Edwin Coe. She acts for high net worth UK and non-UK domiciled clients on a wide range of tax and estate planning matters, advising on and creating solutions to hold, protect and pass the wealth of her clients to minimise tax and maximise the protection against non-tax threats. She has particular experience of relating the solutions to client’s financial and investment planning situations and with business owners, of dovetailing the personal and business succession planning. Alison is a solicitor, having originally qualified as a barrister. She is STEP qualified, a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Chartered Insurance Institute. She has been consistently ranked by eprivateclient as one of the top 50 most influential private client practitioners and is ranked in the independent legal directories Chambers High Net Worth Guide and the Legal 500. Alison was the silver award winner in the Inspirational Woman of the Year category at the Citywealth Power Women Awards 2018.

Richard Jordan
Irwin Mitchell
Partner, Head of Tax, Trusts & Estates

Richard is head of the Irwin Mitchell Tax, Trusts & Estates Team in London. He provides both technical and practical advice on tax and legal issues to the heads of a small number of ultra high net worth families and family offices. The majority of the families he looks after are from outside of the UK, but he also acts in a similar capacity for a small number of British families. In each relationship the family head also expects Richard to identify, manage, coordinate and ultimately deliver the legal, tax and the necessary administration services required by the family from within the business. Aside from these established client relationships, Richard is also retained on specific tax-driven projects to provide advice to foreign families with significant wealth looking to move to or invest in the UK. This transactional work almost always involves tax efficient structuring alongside practical and commercial considerations, risk management and issues relating to family governance and succession planning. Richard travels to Switzerland and the Channel Islands frequently to meet with clients and family offices and also remains actively engaged with the UK tax authorities in the formulation of new legislation and previously enjoyed the pleasure of being on the STEP UK technical committee for many years. PAM, the leading Private Asset Management directory, has consistently recognised Richard as one of the 50 most influential people operating in the UK private wealth sector.

Katherine Neal

Katherine Neal is counsel in Ogier's Private Client and Trusts team in Jersey. She regularly advises professional trustees, settlors and beneficiaries on matters relevant to trusts and foundations, including drafting trust deeds and advising on complex structures including charities, employee reward schemes, JPUTs and pensions. Described by clients as "someone you can really rely on" (Chambers UK 2018) and "a pleasure to work with" (Legal 500 UK, 2017) she was recently named Woman of the Year: Business Growth – silver in the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2018. Katherine is a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists, the working party for charities legislation in Jersey and until 2012 was the Vice Chair of the Law Society of England and Wales Private Client Section. Katherine has been recognised in the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 200 list for 2018."

Helen Humphries
Tax Director

Helen is a Tax Director in the Entrepreneurial Private Wealth Team of BDO’s London Private Client Team. She has a first class honours degree in Taxation and Revenue Law and more than 15 years tax experience. She advises individuals and families on a wide range of areas including Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax and more specialist areas such as non-domiciled taxation and the taxation of carried interest. She seeks to provide solutions that focused tax efficient options to meet both the personal and commercial objectives of her clients. She has strong values, high standards and a desire to really ‘know’ her clients and colleagues and is a keen advocate of mentoring. Helen balances a demanding high profile client base and family life whilst making a significant contribution to the development and growth of BDO’s Private Client practice.

Paul Perris
Group Managing Director

Paul has over 25 years' experience in the establishment and administration of a wide range of multi-jurisdictional Corporate, Real Estate, Fund and Private Wealth structures for global funds, institutions and wealthy families. He also has significant experience dealing with Middle Eastern investors, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. Prior to joining Crestbridge Paul was a Partner and Group Director at a global provider of offshore legal and fiduciary services headquartered in Jersey. Paul is also recognised in the Citywealth Leaders List 2017.

James Gladstone

James is Head of Wealth Planning at Cazenove Capital. James is responsible for advising some of the firms largest clients on broad wealth planning issues including retirement and estate planning, investment structuring and wealth protection. He is also responsible for the Wealth Planning business within Cazenove Capital. Previously he was Head of Financial Planning at UBS and Financial Planning Director at Rathbones. James has over 18 years’ experience and is a Chartered Financial Planner.

Natalie Merrens

Natalie has 25 years of financial services experience having started her career as a currency trader for Lehman Brothers and Citibank. In 2000 she joined UBS as head of investment consulting, and built a wealth management business providing products and services to the wealthy. In 2006 Natalie joined Kleinwort Benson to develop the private bank offering. Her responsibilities spanned both advisory and discretionary investments. Natalie has an MSc with Distinction in Investment and Risk Management from Cass Business School.
