Karen founded Citywealth after a career at News International, The Times, and Sunday Times in the legal, financial and recruitment sections. She also ran the Legalease flagship title Legal Business/Asia Pacific Legal 500, and launched Legal Business Awards and Legal 500 parties. Karen then took over In Brief magazine, where she grew the organisation from a buyout where it had gone bankrupt to a successful £500,000-a-year publishing and events business. Her work as a Citywealth CEO was recognised by four New York Stevie Awards: Women helping women (2014, 2015), Innovator of the year (2015), and Entrepreneur of the year (2015).

Kellyann Ozouf
Collas Crill
Partner

Kellyann is a partner at Collas Crill and heads the award winning fiduciary practice in Jersey (STEP Legal Team of the Year (midsize) 2015/16). She has over 10 years experience in offshore trusts and is both a Jersey advocate and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. She acts for a range of professional trustees (local and international trust companies and private banks), settlors and beneficiaries. She advises on all aspects of Jersey trust law to include the settlement, ongoing operation and restructuring of trusts. Kellyann's work often involves assisting the Jersey dispute resolution (in both non-contentious and contentious court applications), commercial and UK real estate team. In addition to her trust practice, Kellyann also advises on Jersey foundations and wills and successions law.

Nicholas Toubkin

Senior Client Advisor

Nick is a Senior Client Adviser at Strabens Hall. He advises clients who are predominantly resident non-domiciled, or non-resident non-domiciled. Nick specialises in advice around investment management, financial planning and clients’ broad structuring needs both onshore and offshore. Nick also specialises in complex tax focussed investments. Nick joined the Strabens Hall London office from Tilney Group where he advised high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to that Nick spent over eight years at Coutts where he was a Director in the Wealth Management division. Awarded the Gold Future Leaders Award 2017 by Citywealth, Nick brings a wealth of skill and knowledge to the role and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment certification (CISI). He also has an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nicola Brown

Trust Manager

Nicola is responsible for the delivery of a range of Administration and Trustee services for large Employee Share Ownership Schemes. Her clients include both Financial Times Stock Exchange and Private Equity backed companies, with Corporate Structures ranging from a small number of key executives, to 600 employees with extensive assets under management. Prior to joining ZEDRA, Nicola was an Academic Research Fellow at Kings College London, focusing on the molecular characterisation of leukaemia. Nicola has an MSc in Corporate Governance accredited by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Nick joined Investment Quorum in 2013, having spent the prior nine years working in global equity markets, both in London and Hong Kong. Areas of expertise cover: investment advice and tax planning for private clients and trustees, estate and trust planning, retirement planning and pension advice, individual and corporate protection.

Charlotte Evans-Tipping

Senior Associate

Charlotte is a senior associate, advising on contentious trusts and succession matters, both onshore and offshore, including issues relating to the validity of trusts, claims for removal of trustees, investment disputes, division of trust assets and applications to the court for directions. She acts for settlors, trustees and beneficiaries. She also advises on non-contentious private client issues, including domestic and international succession, estate and UK tax planning where she acts for high net worth individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries, family offices and private banks. Her work includes trust and estate structuring and family governance for large international families, often with cross-border business interests. Charlotte also has experience in wealth protection, risk analysis and defensive structuring. This work includes undertaking reviews on existing structures in order to identify weaknesses that would render them vulnerable to attack by third parties, regulatory authorities or other family members. Charlotte qualified as a solicitor in September 2012 at Lawrence Graham LLP (now Gowling WLG) and joined Forsters with the rest of the Gowling WLG London Private Client team in May 2017.

Chris Mourant

Assistant Trust Manager

Chris carries out the day-to-day administration of the entities which form part of Emirates NBD Trust Company (Jersey) Limited, which is a trust company managed by Fairway Fund Services Limited. The portfolio consists largely of real estate in London and his duties include liaising with relationship managers in London and Dubai, lawyers, tax advisors and property managers. Chris has travelled extensively in the GCC and advises high net worth families in relation to the structuring of assets around the world and the succession thereof. He continues to build relationships in other major finance centres and works closely with a number of family advisers, to ensure a bespoke service to each individual client. Chris has an honours degree in financial services and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) holding the Diploma in International Trust Management. He has also featured in Citywealth's 2015, 2016 and 2017 Future Leaders lists and was a winner of the Trustee of the Year (boutique) award at the 2017 Citywealth Future Leaders awards.
